What is a Guided Hypnosis session?

Guided Hypnosis is a tool for accessing the underconscious mind — the deeper layer of awareness where personal experiences, emotions, and insight are held beyond everyday conscious thought.

I specialize in Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT), a method developed by Dolores Cannon that guides you into the Theta brainwave state, which is the same state your mind enters during REM sleep and dreaming.

In this relaxed state, you can access underconscious memories and find answers to questions about your life, history, health, or any area of interest.

I believe in the effectiveness of this therapy because it is founded on the principle that we already have many of the answers we seek within ourselves. We often possess a deeper understanding of our thoughts, emotions, and life choices than we consciously recognize. However, in today’s busy and sometimes over-stimulating world, it can be challenging to connect with ourselves and our own inner wisdom. Guided hypnosis provides a method that lets us work directly with the underconscious mind.

During a QHHT session, we begin with a conversation about your life and the questions you'd like answered. From there, I guide you into a relaxed hypnotic state where your underconscious mind takes the lead.

Figure: Levels of Consciousness and EEG Waves. Electroencephalography (EEG) measures the brain’s electrical activity and categorizes states of consciousness based on wave frequencies (measured in Hz). The figure illustrates the five main types of EEG waves and their associations. During hypnosis, we access the theta state, which is a meditative brainwave frequency often linked to heightened intuition.
